The hardwoods selected for Thomasville Flooring boast varied wood grains and finish tones. These naturally occurring wood characteristics, including mineral streaks and knots, are not considered defects. This should be expected within the same wood species and even within the same box of product. And, as with any genuine wood product, our flooring will take on a darker, enriched hue over time. Color variations are natural due to species, age, character of wood and exposure to sunlight. Normal exposure to sunlight will result in changes in shades and colors. Variation of shades between covered and uncovered areas of flooring is common. This is not a product defect. It is advisable to periodically rearrange rugs and furniture to avoid defined lines between exposed and unexposed areas.

Thomasville Flooring

Our engineered hardwood flooring is a combination of the best natural materials with state-of-the-art technology. Engineered hardwood construction features multiple layers of wood bonded together with cross-grain lamination, making it very resistant to expansion and contraction from moisture and temperature changes. The result is an incredibly stable floor that resists warping, cupping and cracking under in-door environmental conditions. Overall thickness of ½” (12 mm) makes carpet-to-hardwood flooring renovation easy. Wear layer of 11/127” (2.2 mm) is precision-milled hardwood with an allowance for re-sanding & refinishing of up to 3 times.
